About Me:
Kayla Absalom is an Alexandria, Virginia native whose passion for hair coloring inspired her to attend beauty school in 2010. Kayla graduated from Empire beauty school with the MVP award at graduation in 2012 and has been licensed and behind the chair for 7 years.
She enjoys creating natural looks using techniques like balayage and baby lighting. Growing up in a family of hair lovers and her mother being one of her biggest influencers (being a hairstylist herself) Hair styling was very present in her household.
Today, Kayla continues her education to keep up with the latest styles, techniques, and trendy looks, she’s taken classes with master stylist such as Davines educator/creator of Kaizen education and salon owner Sal Misseri and Sam Villa educator Andrew Carruthers.
