Lesson 4
Post Structure
Post DNA: Structure of a High-Performing Post
1. Hook (First line)
The hook’s job is to earn the next second of attention.
- Stops the scroll
- Triggers emotion or curiosity
- Promises value without explaining everything
2. Core Content (2–10 sentences)
This is where the post delivers on the hook.
- Expands on the hook instead of repeating it
- Delivers specific insight, clarity, or value
- Uses storytelling, examples, or data
- Keeps momentum so the reader continues
3. Call to Action (Final line)
The CTA should feel natural, not forced.
- Relevant to what was just shared
- Invites engagement (comment, reflect, respond)
- Simple and easy to act on
