Lesson 10

Post Variations – Prompts 3A-3E

Post Variations (LinkedIn, Reels, Carousels)

Once you have a strong post, you do not need to reinvent it for every platform. You convert it.

Use the prompts below to turn one “core post” into three versions: LinkedIn, Reel, and Carousel.

Prompt 3A: LinkedIn Version Prompt

Goal: Make it look polished and readable on LinkedIn without sounding “salesy” or casual.

Convert this content into a polished LinkedIn post.
Source content:
[Paste existing post]

Requirements:
Strong hook line
Short paragraphs (1–2 sentences max)
Clear structure
Caption CTA (early pillars) OR Business CTA (later pillars), based on the post’s Pillar
No emojis
No banned words
Professional tone
Keep the core idea exactly the same (no new topic)

Prompt 3B: Reel Script Prompt (Beginner-Friendly)

Goal: Turn the post into a 30–60 second talking video with simple filming instructions.

Convert this post into a beginner-friendly Reel script.

Source content:
[Paste post]

Audience:
Midlife practice owners creating reels for their own businesses.

Output must include:

1. Hook line

2. Spoken script
- Short sentences
- Easy to read aloud
- 30–60 seconds

3. On-screen text (captions)

4. Visual plan explained like a beginner:

Explain clearly:

A-Roll = YOU speaking to camera
B-Roll = background footage

Include:

A-Roll instructions:
- Where to sit
- Lighting tips
- How to film on phone

B-Roll suggestions specific to this topic:
Examples:
- typing on laptop
- organizing files
- writing notes
- phone screen
- calendar

5. Music suggestion (simple and neutral)

6. Two CTA options:
- Engagement CTA
- Business CTA

Use simple language. Assume user has never filmed a reel before.

Prompt 3C: Carousel Prompt (LinkedIn or Instagram)

Goal: Turn one idea into a swipeable sequence with clean structure.

Turn this post into a LinkedIn/Instagram carousel.

Source content:
[Paste post]

Create:
Slide 1: Hook
Slides 2–6: Main points
Final slide: CTA
For each slide include:
Slide headline
Slide body text (short)
Design direction (simple, professional)
CTA rules:
If the Pillar is Indifference or Basic Knowledge, use a Caption CTA-style line (read the caption / check the description)
If the Pillar is Solution Seeking or Ready to Buy, use a Business CTA (DM / link / book)
No emojis. No banned words. Professional tone. Keep the core idea the same.

Prompt 3D: Caption-Driven Content (Optional Add-On Style)

What it is:
Content where the video hook is short, and the real value lives in the caption/description.

How it works:

  • The on-screen hook creates urgency or curiosity.
  • The viewer is told to open the caption.
  • The caption delivers the full breakdown.

Example structure:
On-screen hook (first 3–6 seconds):
“Most women are handling perimenopause in the wrong order.”

On-screen line (immediately after):
“Read the caption.”

Purpose:
The hook is not there to explain.
It is there to make the viewer open the text.

Convert this post into a Caption-Driven Reel.

Source content:
[Paste existing post]

Requirements:

1. On-screen hook (5–7 seconds)
- One strong line only
- Must stop the scroll
- No explanation on screen

2. On-screen instruction
- Second line must be: “Read the caption.”

3. CAPTION (most important)

Write a high-retention caption that:

- Is 2 well-developed paragraphs minimum
- Encourages the reader to stay and read
- Builds curiosity and credibility
- Speaks directly to women in midlife
- Positions the author as an expert guide
- Avoids giving a full DIY solution
- Moves the reader toward booking or inquiry

Structure of the caption must be:

Paragraph 1 – Context + problem
- Describe the common situation or mistake
- Validate what the reader is experiencing
- Show why generic advice fails

Paragraph 2 – Insight + payoff
- Explain what actually makes the difference
- Show the benefit of personalized help
- End with a gentle business CTA

4. CTA Rules

Use one clear business CTA at the end, such as:

- “Book a consultation through the link in my bio.”
- “Message me to discuss your next steps.”
- “Schedule a call to create your personalized plan.”

Do NOT:
- Use emojis
- Use hype or exaggeration
- Turn the caption into step-by-step instructions
- Give away a complete plan for free

Tone:
Professional, confident, empathetic, and practical.
Include:

A-Roll instructions:
- Where to sit
- Lighting tips
- How to film on phone

B-Roll suggestions specific to this topic:
Examples:
- typing on laptop
- organizing files
- writing notes
- phone screen
- calendar

5. Music suggestion (simple and neutral)

OR

Slide 6 – Insight / Result
What changes when they do this right
Slide 7 – CTA
CTA style options:
"Write [code word] in comments”
“Save this for later”
“Check the description”
Additional Requirements:

Short, sharp sentences
No emojis
No filler language
Must create the feeling: “This is exactly about me”

Beginner Glossary (Simple Explanations)

A-Roll
The main video footage where YOU are speaking directly to the camera.
This is the primary story of the reel.

B-Roll
Extra supporting footage that plays over your voice.
Examples: typing on a laptop, organizing files, scrolling a calendar, writing notes, showing a website page.
B-roll makes videos feel more dynamic without extra talking.

Hook
The very first line of your post or video.
Its only job is to stop the scroll and make someone keep watching or reading.

Caption / Description
The written text under a Reel or social media post.
This is where you explain details, give steps, and deliver real value.

Caption CTA
A call to action that asks the viewer to open and read the description.
Example: “Read the description for the full breakdown.”

Business CTA
A call to action that invites the next step toward working with you.
Examples: “DM me to learn more,” “Book a call,” “Use the link in my bio.”

Carousel
A post made of multiple slides that people swipe through.
Each slide delivers one part of a bigger idea.

Evergreen Content
Posts that stay useful all year long and can be reused instead of being posted once and forgotten.

Watch Time
How long people stay on your video.
Higher watch time tells the platform your content is valuable.
